Navigating learning, parenting, and personal growth with a neurodiverse child
“I have a seven-year old son who has autism. I don't have autism, and I'm not an expert, but I have been very intentional about seeking out experts. And by experts, I mean not only doctors and psychologists, but also neurodiverse people, whose voices are not always listened to. Part of my journey into understanding my son and how to best parent him has been about paying attention to those voices. That’s where many of my thoughts and ideas originate from.”
In this episode, conservation biologist and mom of three Rebecca Ellis joins founder and CEO Kinia Romanowska to talk about her special connection with wildlife, her experience raising a neurodiverse child, and how her mindset shifts have led her to improve her health, reduce stress, and enjoy life better.
Tune in to this episode for insights on creating work-life harmony with the right support, understanding the nuanced reality of neurodiversity, and cultivating personal development.
